Welcome Friend!

Feel free to explore my creative side.

Meet the “dosigner”

Hello friend! My name is Emmaleigh Dorau, a freelance Graphic Designer with a focus in branding, layout/web design, and photography. I am based in Erie, PA, and I work as a barista at a local coffee shop. I launched Emdosign after discovering my craft for design upon graduating high school. This website has quickly become a space for my friends and family to bring their creative ideas to life, as well as a space for me to take time to connect with myself and my passion. Since graduation, I have taken senior portraits for my family, designed eye-catching logos for business owners and non-profit organizations, planned web-designs for two clients, and have upcoming plans for Lucky Bean Coffee Shop’s website design team! Three interesting facts about me are I got the chance to pet an African Penguin named Wyatt, my dream vacation is to visit Tennessee, and I love traveling to different theme parks!

Objectives

My main objective as a designer is to help people achieve their creative goals. Whether it’s a fresh new logo, a re-amp for a business, or helping get someone’s work out in the open through a website, each goal deserves to be reached with the highest effort, work, and care possible. To move forward in my career, I would like to find an internship under a design studio to gain more familiarity working with businesses and clients, as well as learn more about branding/web design processes. I believe an internship would help me grow as a designer through more knowledge about design principles, getting a chance to collaborate with a team of designers, having an opportunity to receive helpful feedback, and actively strengthen my ability to think creatively and critically.
